The Montclarion newspaper features The Pet Mayor Contest on Page 1

Readers of The Montclarion newspaper woke up this past Friday morning to a front page, above-the-fold spread on the Pet Mayor Contest. The article looks at the race from the prospects of the “underdog” turtle, Alex, who is up against a field of seven dogs, including incumbent Pet Mayor Gracie.

The article quotes Montclair Pet & Wildlife Fund Director Lee Richter as saying, “It comes down to the wire every year,” and this year is expected to be no different.
